Kathy Hindman is a shareholder in the firm. Kathy’s primary focus is employment-related advice, litigation prevention and training. She specializes in public and private sector wage and hour compliance, workplace harassment and discrimination, managing family medical leave, injured workers, the interactive process and reasonable accommodation. Kathy regularly assists employers with United States Department of Labor and state agency investigations and audits, as well as class suit litigation.
Kathy is a frequent speaker in the community and is a member of the Oregon State Bar, the Washington State Bar, the Multnomah Bar Association, the Portland Human Resource Management Association and the Oregon Association of Defense Counsel. She received her Juris Doctor from Gonzaga University, where she acted as Executive Editor of the Gonzaga Law Review. Kathy is recognized in Best Lawyers in America, Oregon Super Lawyers and Chambers USA. Kathy is the immediate past General Counsel to the Board for the Portland Human Resource Management Association, and currently serves as Co-Director of Special Interest Groups.
