Ric’s practice has emphasized private and public sector collective bargaining, labor and employment law planning and strategy, personnel administration, the development and implementation of personnel policies including drug and alcohol testing programs, union election campaigns, wage, hour and employment discrimination issues and strike operations all over the United States.

Ric has handled more than 225 arbitration cases involving disputes arising under collective bargaining agreements. Ric is often called upon to assist labor relations personnel in addressing day-to-day concerns, as well as intermediate and long-term strategic issues.

He is a member of the Labor and Employment Section of both the Oregon State Bar and the American Bar Association. He has been asked to provide presentations to various employer groups concerning recent developments in labor and employment law in both Oregon and Washington.

Ric Alli graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1977 and received his Juris Doctor from Willamette University in 1980. He joined the firm right out of law school, and quickly became involved in collective bargaining. In his spare time, he serves as a basketball referee. Ric also enjoys skiing and traveling all over the world.
