If it is worth doing, do it well. Build and sustain your brand, business partnerships and relationships. Be committed to excellence.
Best Way to Keep A Competitive Edge:
Keep learning, observe, have good mentors, listen to the clients and customers, and think long term.
Lead by example and be sure everyone has a role and feels part of the team. Treat that team with dignity and respect. Always share success and apply The Golden Rule. And remember there is always a right way to get something accomplished.
Yardstick for Success:
Have the right values and a clear vision of what you want done. Then lead to implement. Also enjoy what you are doing. Strive to gain the respect of your peers and constantly try to improve.
Goal Yet to be Achieved:
A sub-par round of golf.
Best Business Decision:
Helping to found and build our specialty labor and employment law firm. Also, reorganizing the marathon from a 450-person club event to the 16,000-plus who now participate. And adding a charity component to the event.
