Stephanie is a paralegal who began her career in Dallas, Texas, working in criminal defense. Her first trial experience was assisting in defending a murder trial. During that experience, she discovered her passion in investigative and trial work. She applied and developed those skills while working in a wide range of legal disciplines, including medical malpractice litigation, asbestos litigation, and insurance defense. She has also worked as an office manager and human resources professional.
This breadth of exposure has laid the groundwork for Stephanie’s unique ability to provide creative and effective support as an employment law paralegal. Given her HR background, she can relate to the challenges many of her clients are facing. Her experience has taught her what evidence lawyers need to win their cases and she knows how to get it.
Outside of the office, Stephanie has volunteered as a Court Appointed Child Advocate and at workshops that provide legal advice to the homeless. Stephanie’s favorite pastimes are working in her yard, antiques, Oregon wines and IPA beers, writing stories and poetry and her labradoodle, Remington.
