Amanda Lapato Joins Bullard Law Employment Litigation Group

Bullard Law is pleased to announce the addition of Amanda Lapato as a Junior Litigation Associate at the firm. Amanda received her J.D. at the University of California Irvine (“UCI”) where she served as a Staff Editor and Associate Editor of the Law Review. During law school, Amanda served as a Legal Intern for an Administrative Law Judge at the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries. She also completed an internship at the UCI Law Civil Rights Litigation Clinic as a Certified Law Student and was a law clerk for a national employment law firm.
Before law school, Amanda worked as a human resources professional for six years at an Oregon company. Her responsibilities included coaching and counseling, performance management, managing leave of absences, recruiting, interviewing, compensation administration, and conducting training for new managers. It was through this work that Amanda discovered her passion for employment law, which led her to pursue a career as an employment attorney.
Amanda has a Bachelor of Arts and a Human Resources Management Certificate from Portland State University. Her prior experience makes her specially attuned to the sensitivities of what human resources professionals need and want from their attorneys. She is excited to bring her skills, knowledge, and experiences in human resources and employment law to provide employers with unparalleled service.
