Bullard Law Names Three New Shareholders

Bullard Law is pleased to announce that John Stellwagen, Heather Van Meter, and Marc Alifanz have become shareholders effective January 1, 2022. Each incoming shareholder has demonstrated outstanding legal work as well as a commitment to the future of the firm and its clients. “We are thrilled to be adding these three outstanding lawyers as shareholders at Bullard Law,” said Dennis Westlind, Managing Partner at Bullard Law. “Bullard law remains committed to providing outstanding legal services to our clients, and Heather, John and Marc will be an important part of meeting that commitment for years to come.”
John Stellwagen joined Bullard Law in 2020 and is admitted to practice in Oregon, Washington, the Western and Eastern District of Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. His practice focuses on labor contract administration, employee relations, bargaining, discipline and discharge, representation before state and federal agencies, labor arbitrations, and preventive law/risk management. He also has a specialized focus on education and municipal law.
Heather Van Meter joined Bullard Law in 2021 and is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Oregon and Washington and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Her practice focuses on providing employment law advice and litigation defense for public and private sector clients. Before joining the firm, Heather spent over two decades working for major law firms and the Oregon Department of Justice. She also has extensive experience teaching, serving as an adjunct professor at the Willamette University College of Business and teaching abroad.
Marc Alifanz joined Bullard Law in 2021 and is admitted to practice in Oregon, New York, New Jersey and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (Washington admission pending). His practice focuses on providing employment advice, counseling, and training to employers. Marc has spent over 17 years helping employers manage and mitigate legal employment risks, not only through reactive management of issues after they arise, but by avoiding them altogether through respectful, educational, and positive HR Management.
All three attorneys join the current shareholders at Bullard Law in one of the leading labor, employment, and benefits law firms in the Pacific Northwest.
