Jason works exclusively in the area of employee benefits. He enjoys explaining the tax code and other retirement plan law to clients, and finding simple solutions to complex problems. He believes that the purpose of ERISA is to balance the goals of employers with the retirement and health insurance needs of employees, and appreciates working with employers to meet both aims.
Jason works with clients to design new and restated plan documents, amendments and ancillary documents for both tax-qualified retirement and non-qualified compensation plans. He also advises on fiduciary obligations to retirement plans and monitors compliance with new legislation and regulatory guidance from the Internal Revenue Service and Department of Labor.
